Do you have to have GConf2 and GConf installed on the same machine, as evolution is running fine, but Ive had a few lock up on
my system and Ive only got Rawhide GConf installed and it cannot contect the server after rebooting, If I remove my .gconf* directorys in my home dir its fine, except it looses all my nautilus and galeon settings..

Is it shutting down cleanly/are you waiting for it to close itself
instead of hitting the close button the "Exiting Evolution..." window?

Also, did you install the latest bonobo, bonobo-conf, ORBit, and GConf
packages?
