Well now that we have the mystery of the tux explained. Here are three
comments:
1. I assume you rebooted the machine that is exporting or ran exportfs -a
Does running exportfs (without arguments) confirm that the exporting
went correctly.
2. It would be interesting to see your fstab line mounting this
directory.
3. Now this is subtle and can be missed. What are the permissions on
the directory on the client machine where /home/music is mounted. If
that directory does not allow writing or if the person accessing the
files in that directory do not have user permissions to write into the
directory on the server you can't write. Or maybe more directly
/home/music on the server as well as the directory on which it is
mounted must both allow writing by that user for the rw access to work.
