I just tried installing RH 7.2 on a 667 Mhz Dell Precision 420 (256M
memory, 40M IDE disk). I installed "everything". The installation
proceeded normally, taking about 20 minutes once I got through all the
initial stuff. When I got to the "post install configuration", the
progress bar grew and filled the progress window. After that it seemed to
freeze, though the mouse pointer moved when the mouse was moved. It was
somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes, before it got to the next screen
(creation of a boot disk).
Is this normal? I don't recall seeing this before, but I usually go
off and do other things once the install starts.
