rpm package problem

Hi all,
I have just tried to do an up2date and it reports a problem after it has
finished testing the package set:

Testing package set / solving RPM inter-dependencies...
There was a package dependency problem. The message was:
A package providing libXrandr.so.1 could not be found.

And indeed nothing is found if I do a:
[oisin]$ rpm -qa | grep libXrandr

But I can find the library:
[oisin]$ locate libXrandr
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so.1
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so.1.0
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so

And it appears to have been installed as a package:
[oisin]$ rpm -qf /usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so.1
XFree86-libs-4.1.99.2-0.2.3

So what could be going wrong?

-Oisin
