Agreed!! You can say what you want but an article in Linux Journal I read
yesterday had a statment something to the effect, that of all of the
linux .coms that had IPO's the only one still left with linux as it main
business is Redhat. Given this IMHO they must be doing something right. 
I know that there are times when I disagree with what Redhat does but as 
was stated above it is impossible to be all things to all people and in 
order to survive long term they MUST do what makes the best economic sense 
even if some people do not like it.

Besides that is why there are other distros. For that matter for loading on a
bunch of 486's I would most likely look at RHL 6.2. It is still somewhat 
supported and I think it will install on much smaller amounts of memory.
