Re: Contact list for lightweight distro

All right,

let me, and everybody else interested keep in touch off list about this.

As already said, I have "limited" (:-( )C programming skills, and much
stronger scripting ones.

However, I started this whole business, and before that I have been
mulling these and related problems over in my head for at least two
years, so I do have a *lot* of ideas to suggest (most of which may
probabl;y be bulls**t, as you surely realize...)

However, I'll be glad to act temporarily as a "leader", or, more
realistically, as a logistical coordinator (be the reference
contact for new entries, set up a mailing list somewhere, a
freshmeat/sourceforge project, this kind of things)

I have some tons of overdue work to finish in the next seven days.
It should be a bit more relaxed living after that, for me at least.

Right now, I suggest that we try to learn as much as possible
from Eric and the others about the current installer.

Apart from that, I think that the first thing we interested ones
need to do is to just sit quietly a little, go over the whole
discussion again mentally, and figure out exactly what we want this
thing to be, and how it should work.

Whoever is interested, drop me a personal mail, and I'll try to
contact you all some time next week.

Then we'll get to work, figure out who is going to be responsible
for what, and start cracking.

This is going to be interesting!

	Thank you all!
