cpu speed is not the real one

Hi, my name is Daniel, i´m a thinkpad 600E owner. I´m new to linux, I
just installed redhat 7.2, but i notice that it´s running very slow.
When i check the processor speed in the system information it says 93
Mhz. Is it possible to change the processor speed to the real one? Any
help i´ll apreciatted
