I have a dual PIII Intel mbd running RHL 7.2. According to the links
in /boot, the system doesn't appear to be booting using the SMP versions
of "vmlinuz" and "module-info". As you can see from the ls output, these
are linked to the non-SMP versions. I noticed this happening when I
upgraded to 2.4.18-17 and the recent -18. Previously, I was using a
version of the kernel recompiled with IPtables and ECC support (I did the
compile). With that version, I'm **pretty sure** that "vmlinuz" and
"module-info" were pointing to the correct SMP files.
Any help would be appreciated.
