Just a note which doesn't help you in the moment:
The german goverment has made a public contract with the companies
Erfrakon, Intevation and Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB for a groupware
solution (german article with the announcement:
http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/ju-13.09.02-000). This project
shall be completely based on open source technology containing a
server (based on Apache, Cyrus IMAP, OpenLDAP2, Postfix and ProFTPd)
and a client for KDE (based on KMail (with Ägypten/SPHINX encryption
extensions), KOrganizer (used as KPart), KAddressbook and Kitchensync
with Conduits). For M$ windows clients it is planned to use Outlook
2000 with the Bynari Insight Connector 1.09 plugin. Beside the email
functionality the project shall include public and shareable adress
books, calendar, appointment calendars and syncronising functions with
palm PDAs. The project homepage is http://www.kroupware.org. A
document describing the architecture concept can be found here:
http://www.kroupware.org/concept-1.0.1/index.html.
This project looks very promising to me and I guess that first results
will be available soon as it is based on existing software.

Bye

Dirk
