This has also been a sore spot with my department. We have converted over all of our ms server to Redhat except our exchange server which is still NT and 5.5 exchange. We attempted to cobble together a couple of opensource mapi servers and integrate them with php and mysql. However, we ran into to many problems and constraints to continue it. That and the fact that we couldnt over come the scheduling and calendar problems.
If someone does find a solution I'd like to know.
