modprobe: cannot find module for 52nd time...

Why does /var/log/messsages file generate a message saying that modprobe cannot find a module for the nth time....

i think maybe its a problem in the kernel because i did not see these messages when i used the original kernel that came with the boxed CD's.... then when i recompiled the kernel since i needed to use NTFS... i only thinkered with the filesystem options in the kernel... and then after recompiling /var/log/messages started to generate these modprobe messages....

what do you think?
