Hi Nikhil,
It seems to me that what the knowledge base is talking about here is
Windows software. So if you install software in Windows, and suddenly
your machine stops powering down, it is the manufacturer's fault, not
Microsoft's.
I don't see how an OS installed on a seperate partition can be affecting
Windows' ability to shut down properly.
Does Windows powerdown properly if it is started from a cold boot? (Not
a reset)
