i have a friend who as an XP box connected to the internet thru cable..

Now I occassionally bring my laptop there at his house and connect onto his XP box so that i can surf on the internet thru my laptop also.. My laptop is setup to dual boot Winxp and Linux...

With xp, the options and properties are automatically setup to connect to the XP box of my friend...

How do I do that with Redhat LInux 7.2
