System hangs with RH7.2 and win98

Dear All,

I am uisng a Pentium PC with 8 GB hard disk.
I have parted it by 4 GB to each win98 and 
Redhat7.2.It was working fine after installation.
but now system became functionless after rebooted 
finely to Windows.I can see my desktop and icons
but can not open anything..I mean no response
on clicking

Is it a genuine problem for RH7.2 and Windows98
or I have some problem in Window98 OS ?

I will appreciate any help on this matter.
