More troubles with xinetd

Greetings,

In checking the archives, I've noticed that various people 
have had trouble with xinetd 2.3.9 hanging up and refusing to 
accept connections.  We are also experiencing this; the 
trouble seems to resemble the Bugzilla #49132 problem on an 
older version of xinetd in which services using xinetd would 
not have their zombie processes cleaned up.  Is anyone else 
currently having this problem with 2.3.9?  Is Red Hat working 
on a fix?
