Hello,
I have a Linux RedHat 7.2 running on a PIII.
The kernel running is the i686 version, however, for some reason, the glibc installed version is the i386 version. Is this normal ?
However, the system is working normally.
Could someone explain on which occurrence the i686 glibc library should be used, and if I should install it on this system instead of the i386 ? And, more important, how the i686 version should be installed to replace the i386 without having to rebuild the system from scratch.
Thanking you
Best regards
