I don't disagree with Forrest but just two things.
The LI message means that the system can not find your secondary boot
loader which is in the /boot/boot.b file. Be sure you are using the lba32
option , not the linear option in the /etc/lilo.conf and under no
circumstances have boot.b move after you run lilo.
