Well... I made the change as root, restarted the font server (service xfs
restart) and voila! Still that useless script font as the default
fixed-width font. Maybe I'll sit here and say bad words; right out loud.
I *am* getting a lot of reading done, and many interesting side trips through
the various manuals & books on my shelf. Just no recognizable help to be
found.
Suggestions, anyone?
