IRC meeting feedback

WHY WAS EVERYONE SHOUTING SO MUCH ON THAT MEETING CHANNEL THING?!?  I
TURNED THE VOLUME VERY FAR DOWN BUT THE VOICES >>> THE VOICES WOULDN"T
STOP SHOUTING>
