Just "Fedora" looks fine.
People most of the time omit the "Core" part while calling it.
I saw that and myself did that.
So, something like "Fedora 7" looks fine for the next version.

Resetting version number will create huge confusion.
I will suggest going on with current version no (7, 8 , 9).
