Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2003-006
2003-11-18
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : vnc
Version : 4.0
Release : 0.beta4.3.2
Summary : A remote display system.
Description :
Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a remote display system which
allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the
machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and
from a wide variety of machine architectures. This package contains a
client which will allow you to connect to other desktops running a VNC
server.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
A problem has been identified in the VNC server causing VNC clients to
stop displaying updates. A problem in the native VNC viewer
application was also discovered, causing the F8 pop-up dialog not to
function when NumLock was activated. Fixes for both these issues
(Bugzilla bug IDs #107455, #109377) have been incorporated into the
updated packages.
