Additional note, I found the cause of invisible svg icon inside the xml
tag using Inkscape XML editor. The guilty tag is <xpacket>. Using the
trim_svg script removes that tag but did not restore the visibility
(looks like a bug). The workaround is to delete empty space inside
<svg:metadata> then save the svg whic should restore the visibility.
