I guess that's fine as long as it's made clear to translators what
the string is so they can ignore the msgid/placeholders if they don't apply.
I do kind of wonder what gains we get from having the optimization, though.
(avoiding typos from the redundant information?)
It seems like it might just add confusion for translators.
