So, you are filling the LiveCD with i686 packeages until the maximum
~700MB, and then do the exact copy with x86_64 packages???
Why don't you do that reverse??? Then, the i686 LiveCD will be ~650MB
and x86_64 will be ~700MB and both will fit CD...
