gconf "needs_terminal" extraneous key

In investigating annoying problems with the "Preferred Application" 
browser setting, I noticed one oddity.

/desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/needs_terminal

This is an extraneous key, while all other keys contain "need-terminal". 
   This probably isn't much of a problem, but this indicates there is a 
bug in some application writing the wrong key name.  Any ideas where 
this is  coming from?
