The european ISDN rules really put the duty on the person who plugged it in
to do the right thing, and the hardware vendor to use the right stickers for
approval. The wireless one comes from pure hardware so isnt really translating
so well to software
Most of the ISDN rules have been relaxed - not least because "bad driver might
bring down exchange" is seen as a terror threat not a reason for certification
of protocols. (Obviously hw cert is different - blowing up phone engineers is
not good)
