Can u please help me more abt this - from where to get the glibc, from where
to get the header files, what wud be the end user pre-requisites for using
such an application etc?

dlinfo was added to glibc on 2003-03-15, so you can try that in current
Severn/Taroon/Rawhide glibcs.

There is also dl_iterate_phdrs to list all currently loaded libraries.
