Yes it does, IMHO.  It's all about freedom of choice (I personally
prefer GNOME i.s.o. KDE, b.t.w., but I use my desktop mostly for
managing my gnometerm's ;-)).  KDE is still a major player in the
desktop market and also for reasons of "competition" between distros
FC should have both, IMHO, like most other distros.

There could be more CD images, maybe, each having some subset,
although that would be a real horror story for mirror sites.
