up2date via local dir (SOLVED)

Well, it seems I have fixed the problems with both GUI and CLI.  I
removed both rhn-applet and up2date/up2date-gnome and their
corresponding directories and reinstalled them from scratch with latest
rawhide versions.  It seems to have fixed both rhn-applet and up2date in
all aspects and now all is working.
