Re: What's left for FC2 test1?

Things are in devel freeze at the moment. There are some obstacles to putting the test1 label on the current tree:

1. Broken deps need fixing

ImageMagick-perl-5.5.7.15-0.1 requires libMagick-5.5.6-Q16.so.0
ethereal-0.10.0a-1 requires libpcap.so.0.6.2
ethereal-gnome-0.10.0a-1 requires libpcap.so.0.6.2
firstboot-1.3.3-1 requires redhat-config-packages

firstboot in rawhide currently seems to run "setup" in addition to the reported python traceback. That seems a bit strange.

koffice-1.3-1 requires libMagick-5.5.6-Q16.so.0
rusers-server-0.17-34.sel requires libproc.so.2.0.17
spamassassin-2.63-3 requires /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.2/i386-linux-thread-multi

spamassassin-2.63-5 should do the trick.

xchat-2.0.7-1 requires /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.2/i386-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/libperl.so
RH9's perl
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi/libperl.so
FC1's perl

It seems that cturner added symlinks from the 5.8.3's libperl.so to the previous versions in otherwise empty directories. I changed spamassassin-2.63-5 to use vendorlibexp rather than archlistexp since it does not actually use libperl.so. One might argue that xchat should change to "Requires: perl >= 2:5.8.0" since it should be covered, but this library compatibilty may easily not be true for a future version like 6.0. For this reason I would suggest that the archlibexp dependency is best for xchat. When perl's version changes, you only need to rebuild xchat with no other modificiations to spec.
