Status of shadow-utils/nscd bug #125421 ?

What's the status of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/125421 ?

Summary: shadow-utils tries to HUP nscd on various operations, but the
patch implementing this has bitrotten; it looks for /var/run/nscd.pid
while it's /var/run/nscd/nscd.pid nowadays.  Keywords "EasyFix, Patch",
zero comments from maintainer(s).

Obviously, if nscd is running, this will cause a lot of problems.  For
example: incorrect file permissions on install for all packages that add
users/groups in their %post and friends ("user/group foo doesn't exist,
using root").

Fix that for FC3, pretty please?  (And add a FC2 erratum as well...)
