hmmm... i wouldn't call that a problem. it only needs to work for the
apps that are included. who cares if xine works - it is not included in
fedora anyway.   

my point is: proper soundmixing should be a goal for fc3. i don't know
which ways there are to achieve this goal, if its dmix or anything else,
but it needs to be done (imho).
