Aye, I did. But it doesnt 'know' about as much stuff as logwatch
does.
But a syslog daemon that's not 25 yrs old would be a nice fresh start.
Possibly. But I'd rather have a bare minimum traditional syslogd
rewrite than an all singing, all dancing rewrite whose bells and
whistles i'll never use.
