/etc/sysconfig/harddisks deprecated?

I have a feeling they are incorrect for my Apple Ibook G3.  Bus gets
assumed 33mhz which is a tad slow for a modern IDE bus.  However I don't
really know where to look for the real specs to compare against.  Want
to help out?
