As I mentioned in the bug report you've referenced above, this issue
will be addressed in a future Fedora Core release after the modularized
X.Org X11 is completed and integrated into the distribution. It is hard
to say what specific Fedora Core release that will be, as we don't have
a specific timetable for X11R7 yet. The issue is deferred until X11R7
is available and we begin integrating it into the distribution. At that
point, we'll reopen the bug and set the status to "RAWHIDE" to indicate
the change is complete. If I had to hazard a guess, it would be Fedora
Core 5 at the earliest, and probably Fedora Core 5 at the latest.

After my last comment in the bug, I felt the discussion was over as I
had already described the problem, some suggested workarounds, the
solution we will be implementing for this, and a rough timeframe, and I
didn't (and don't) have anything additional to add, having already
provided all of my thoughts on the matter in the bug report.

I disappeared at the end of the discussion rather than the middle. ;o)

Thanks for your report though, and I hope this clarifies any confusion
in the comments in the bug report.

Take care,
TTYL
