I agree, it should be dogfoodable.  And I think that right now, it is.
As annoying as this DPI bug probably is for you, it doesn't affect
everyone.  That said, I've hit bugs myself, like this one:

But these issues are just bugs; they'll be fixed.  And they'll be fixed
faster if the developers don't have to spend time responding to mailing
list complaints and instead get informative Bugzilla reports.
