Help Needed: Upgrade IEEE1394 (Firewire) Libraries

I don't have time to upgrade the Firewire related libraries and test 
them before the FC5test1 devel freeze.  If you care about these packages 
(and actually have hardwarew to test it), your assistance would be 
appreciated.  Please attach spec and source patches to this bug report.
