Indeed. I've been doing some work on microcode_ctl lately, having taken
it over recently - I'm ok with the idea of splitting the microcode
itself out into another package, but that package is not hwdata.

Yep. Though if people (and Intel?) think it's a good idea, I can split
it out into another package for ease of updating...any word on whether
greater microcode changelog data is forthcoming? :-)
