filelists.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum

Hi,

Today I am getting the following error when running "yum update" on
FC4 x86_64:

filelists.xml.gz          100% |=========================| 3.0 MB    00:23
http://mirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/4/x86_64/repodata/filelists.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.

- this is for *all* mirrors yum tries. Any ideas? Is the file
corrupted and propagated to all the mirrors? Is it a screwed-up
configuration on my end (I have not tinkered with it, actually)?

Googling for the error message did not yield anything. What can I check?
