Re: [BUG] Clock always faster

Dear all,

I have found my system clock 4 minutes faster than the standard
time. I remembered I have sysced with a ntp server before.

To be precise, it will get 1.029561 sec faster in a two-hour interval.

Does anyone else have the same experience? Do you think it is due to
hardware or the kernel?

That's about 140 ppm (parts per million). Bad, but I guess within PC tolerances.

Keep the machine on ntp at all times if possible.

Do not meddle in the internals of kernels, for they are subtle and quick to panic.
