The dmesg output you provided in bz 197424 shows that you have the MSP3430 audio 
processor on your tv card.  This is the chip for which Hans Verkuil apparently 
omitted support in the most recent driver release because he didn't have 
sufficient documentation on it.  The referenced linux-kernel thread indicates 
he's working on it, and even suggests a couple of driver options to try.
