Just a note - pam_console in pam-0.99.8.1-5.fc8 drops support for
changing device ownership for all devices which are now handled by HAL.

So after upgrade & reboot please test whether some hardware devices
formerly accessible by console user stop working due to missing access
rights and report the bugs against HAL.
