- Well, I had submitted a corresponding bug report, namely
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=388211
which got closed immediately as "NOTABUG" based on the personal taste
of the/one package co-/maintainer after which I felt compelled to
bring the issue to this list in order to learn about how other
community members think about it.
- The "reasonable use case" is that as an exclusive GNOME user I'm
encumbered with certain packages/toolkits that I'd like to get rid
of on my system, and that current dependencies prevent me from
doing so.
