f7 test: failure in qemu

It looks like in Fedora 7 Test 1 there's a couple of things that don't
work in QEMU.
On the Live CD:

WARNING: Cannot find root file system!

Create symlink /dev/root and then exit this shell to continue the boot
sequence

There's also a udev deprecation warning in 00-cdlabel.rules
On the DVD: the cdrom device isn't found, so I can't install from it.
It should be pretty standard and it has always worked before. Is this
due to the new ide layer?
