Fedora 7 (KDE & Gnome Live CD) : buffer io error on device sr0

Hey,

i`ve booted both fedora 7 live cd and i get about 10 errors with: "buffer io error on device sr0"
I`ve only tested it with the x86 version on a Acer Aspire 5630. (Core 2 duo T5200)

those 10 errers take a while to load and really slow down the boot progress.
also why isn`t the boot progress graphical? i do have a gui environment when fully
booted and i can even turn on 3d stuff (hardware acceleration works out of the box).
