Remember to compare like with like, 

For the OOo crash, Arch is x86_64, Desktop is GNOME, accessibility is
true and SELinux is enabled & permissive.

In this case the magic factor is having a11y enabled. Workaround is to
disable a11y for the moment while I have a look at it :-)
