Guidelines for huge spec changelogs?

No, actually, I never understood the usefulness of inlined changelogs,
neither in VCS's (e.g. CVS's $Log$) nor in rpm.specs.

If one insists on inlined changelogs, I don't see any problems in
manually pruning them to "usable shape". It's what I've been doing with
my packages.
