How important are ISO standards to Fedora?

You go into the papersize selector for the printer options in
s-c-printer and you select A4 and manual set the default for that
printer.  Sane defaults never accommodate everyone, customization of
something is inevitable.  Because we are all that one in one million
person in some respect.
