There is no reason to use .net having java (open source language, spec, implementations, multiplatform, etc, etc), ruby, php, python, c, c++, rails, etc, etc...
There is no reason to include mono in Fedora
And none of the above are reasons not to have it Fedora either.
If people want it and it's legal, let them have it.
