Is that codified in fedoraforum's guidelines? I'm not sure I see that
communicated in a way that is obvious to me.

As to "old threads"  it would be good to have some basic rule of thumb
as to when a thread is "too old" to reply to. Can the forum be
configured to automatically close the threads if they are inactive for
long enough?


We do need to have developers responding to threads about bugs in the
forums. But probably also need some specific guidance on how
developers are expected to reply.  if there are a lot of threads about
bugs in a certain package, I think its reasonable a developer to
repeatedly suggest filing bugs in the appropriate place to make sure
these things get fixed.

Beyond the layer of personal bias about PK that is apparent, there is
a deeper layer of uncommunicated expectations on general
user/developer interaction that needs to be addressed
